I didn't go out in the afternoon, but in the evening FSU had arranged for all of us summer students to see Bend it Like Beckham, the musical.  I had never seen the movie, so I didn't know the plot, and I was pretty skeptical about it.  However, this ended up being a very fun show!  In fact, I am still singing several numbers in my head nearly two weeks later.  The Phoenix Theatre was lovely and it was a wonderful treat to go out on the town and enjoy a performance unique to London.
